First Christian Church, located on 22 acres at Route 3 and Waits Road in Kendallville, Indiana, is a friendly, growing, welcoming group of believers in Christ who are striving to glorify God and obey Jesus in all we say and do. We have been faithfully serving the Kendallville area since 1853. First Christian Church is an independent, non-denominational congregation with a history of solid Bible-based teaching that focuses on knowing God's Word and practically applying it in our daily lives... in other words, learning to walk as Jesus walked!
Regular Schedule:
Worship Service begins at 9:00 AM.
Children's Sunday School & teen & adult Bible Fellowship Groups begin at 10:30 AM.
Our Sunday morning service consists of celebrating God's majesty through musically blended worship, combining the best of classic hymns in a contemporary style, along with modern songs of praise, adoration, and honor for the Savior. We observe Communion at our weekly service, we learn from God's handbook for life, the Bible; we present our tithes and offerings, and we encourage one another to be ambassadors of Christ's love and lifestyle to our community. And, during the service we have Jr. Worship for kids, ages 4 through 2nd grade. Helping children understand how much the Lord loves each of us is very important at First Christian Church!
We have loving and caring individuals to watch your children in our Nursery, plus we offer both Children's Sunday School & teen & adult Bible Fellowship Groups at 10:30 AM immediately after the service.
